Since the beginning of the year, WINEGG has once again seen an increase in demand for sustainable living space and continues to focus on the development and realisation of new residential projects. Current new-build projects include Arndtstraße 50 in Vienna 12, Ottakringer Straße 26 in Vienna 17 and Fahrbachgasse 6-8 in Vienna 21. Fewer flats coming onto the market in 2024 and 2025

Compared to the previous year, the number of building permits has fallen from around 30,000 to only around 20,000 for the current year, which is already having a noticeable impact on the property market. The lower number of building permits inevitably leads to a limited availability of new housing, meaning that potential buyers and tenants have fewer options available to them. This in turn has a direct impact on purchase prices and rents, which tend to rise as demand exceeds supply. In this environment, WINEGG's current new-build projects offer a particularly attractive opportunity for prospective buyers to acquire high-quality living space before the shortage of supply leads to further price increases.
